Join us for a 90-minute experience that blends the philosophy of yoga with the practicality of self-defense. This unique workshop focuses on cultivating awareness, grounding, and empowerment through both mindful movement and practical skills.
You’ll explore:
Yoga philosophy & ahimsa (non-violence) and how it applies to self-defense
Conflict avoidance and de-escalation
Escalation, evasion, and escape techniques
Effective “force multipliers”
Hands-on techniques
Debunking self-defense myths and misinformation
No experience necessary. A yoga mat will be used for warm-ups and short asana practice.
Jason combines the focus of a yoga instructor with the discipline of a lifelong martial artist. Trained in Okinawan karate, American Kempo, Filipino martial arts, and Kobujutsu, he weaves mindfulness and movement into a powerful, grounded approach to self-protection.
